The Taste of Life

The course of life as it goes by
Is nothing but a roller coaster ride
As thrilling it can be, yet we want
Real or surreal, tasty like a croissant

Whether we go with the flow or we rebel
It’s nothing less than a boat, we need to propel
We find the easy way, is something perceived
Difference of view, everyone received

Life and the living has two meanings
Who cares to understand, not part of our trainings
No matter how much we try, change is inevitable
And even when we know it, we’re not comfortable

The taste of life is like a horizon
Beautiful art on canvas drawn with crayons
We want or not, it will go on
Colours will change from dusk till dawn
