New

The colours of Autumn,
swaying to and fro
basking in the soft warmth
of the hazy winter sun.

The leaves below
in all their green finery
try to peep out, and
look up to the smiling sun.

The eternal tussle
of the old, and the new,
challenges the stem
to stay strong and hold on,

With time
the order changes
and the old fall
and renew the earth,

While the new spread out
and reckon
All that is there in air
and dirt.

What remains unchanged
and unchallenged
is the ocean of thoughts
filled with emotions

Soothing our stress
and relieving tension.
