From Melting to Stillness

She tried to mould to his claimed truth,
Convincing herself it was the only truth…
But in the moulding, she began to melt,
losing herself, losing what she felt.

His truth declared it held the key,
While hers slipped off so quietly.
She doubted what her heart once knew,
and let his truth eclipse her view.

She once believed in stillness and space,
Where answers come with gentle grace.
But he insisted, “Churn and learn,
Keep circling thoughts, and the truth will return.

Her mind kept spinning, day and night,
Yet answers never came her way.
The more she thought, the less she found,
Her voice grew faint, without a ground.

Until one day, she dropped the fight,
No more spinning thoughts at night.
She trusts her heart, calm and bright,
arriving in stillness, her guiding light
