I Still Remember
- a Poem

I still remember
how you loved those
drizzles from the white sky
and how those tiny droplets
would sit placidly on your
messy and uncombed hair
I still remember
how you would love
to walk the length of
those nature trails all alone
talking to yourself in the twilight
I still remember
how you enjoyed
baking cakes while it
thundered outside in the
pitch dark evenings
I still remember
how you loved to
listen to “Champagne Problems”
when nothing seemed
good in life
I still remember
you because I never
lost you. It’s “YOU”
who I still am.
