Invent The Invented

Painted, polished and presented
Called it innovative and sold the rented
Struck once, modified the basic
Struck twice, called it authentic and classic
Mocked the original, said it’s rustic
Stole the idea, and made it antique

Essence evaporated like a spirit
Charmed by the look, admired the grit
Renamed the brand, coz old won’t work
Marketed it like new, applied the torque

Well, valued the valuable what someone ignored
Encashed the treasure, celebrated with a toast and some musical chords
