The Unborn

She stood on the shore, with arms folded
Shallow waves continued to caress her feet
With hair swaying in the cold breeze, she drowned in the sea of sorrow.
An abrupt shake that she felt within, awakened the motherhood in her.
As she began to turn around, an ecstatic sensation sprouted within.
Shallow waves kept coming in search of her feet,
Only to find fading footprints left by her.
She kept walking ashore, under gleaming rays of twilight,
A solace she has been seeking, was just found within.
