The Mind-Field

Like the flowers that blossom,
In the hearts that grow them
Bloomed once a flower of life,
Darkness around, evil found

Zest grew the flower of light
It bashed through evil with all it’s might
Sadness and greediness broke their arms
And then did build happiness a farm

Sprouted love, care and joy
Making all of the worlds, greatly calm
But then grew anger, selfishness and greed
Pouring hindrance to the sprouts in great need

Sadness got back, so did greed
Changing whole of the field into weeds
The field was struck with droughts and floods
And the flower was cut, burnt and judged

The field was mind, none other
Rooted by emotions but sprouted by darkness
