Being a daughter & then a Mom to one
Is a beautiful experience and so much fun

It’s a relationship special & one so true
Full of familiar moments that are yet so new

To my Mom always I shared a lot
Be it an emotion or even a thought

She’d understand it all & give good advice
That solved my confusion within a trice

My daughter now shares a lot with me
A version of my past, in her I do see

Although her personality is so different from mine
To interact we hardly, need to fret or pine

But those who’ve sons, can enjoy this too
When you adopt their wives as your daughters true

Lovely daughters are around all the time
If we decide ourselves, a nice Mom to mime

Daughters are special whether they’re ours or not
Their love can only, by true love be bought
