She Can Be Anything She Wants To Be

Don’t wear this
Don’t wear that
Don’t wear skirts or
Deep necks late at night

Don’t go out
Don’t talk to guys
Don’t let your hair flow
Cause that’s not right, right !?

You are too young for this
You are too old for that
Then what’s the right age
Someone please tell me that

Teach him, Support her
Cause she is much better than a guy
She will lift your head
Much higher in the sky

    Beautifully expressed!
Half the objective is achieved if respect is the foundation of any relationship.
Hats off to this young author’s thought process.
Keep it up ! We definitely need more thinkers like him to create a better society.

Truly amazing Jethro. I’m really proud of you not only for your awesome poem but for the values that you’re growing up with.

It’s my pleasure to read your poem, it’s a very amazing step forward to protect women’s rights and not to judge them according to only their clothing styles or anything…. It’s a very amazing initiative to change the minds of the people towards women.

  4. Well done JJO…..So very true and relevant to the times we live in.

Just what we need to ensure a balanced society….Equal opportunity and respect for all and education as the key rather than ” This is how it’s always been”

  5. Well expressed Jethro! It’s time young gentlemen like you start thinking and changing. When you n we change, the world will change..
    Keep it up.. God bless!

Well expressed. Wonderful thought. Very pertinent in today’s time to make this world a better place.

  7. Now this one I really like; not necessarily because of the writing style etc – instead, I like it because it showcases your thought process and attitude to girls/women. It is heartening to see a young man who is not afraid of expressing his views/thoughts especially in this age we live in.
Education begets much success, not just financial but success in everything you set your hand to. I wish you well on this literary journey. Writing is very cathartic, hence a naturally good friend 🙂
So keep writing, keep expressing, keep sharing and keep educating – it’s one of those circles you actually want to be caught in, right?!

    Well done, JJo!
