Lord, help the little ones in my nest,
You know God I’ve done my very best,
You helped me give them love and food,
Nourished them and now they look so good!
And when I teach them to fly,
Please give them the courage to try,
Grant them wings to soar up high,
Strength and grace to touch the sky.
Guide them through every challenge they’ll face,
Grant them your wisdom and abundant grace.
Protect them from harm and despair,
Wrapping them in your love, that’s always been there
For them. Let them find joy in simple things
And courage to face what tomorrow brings.
As they leave my nest let them know,
That my love and support will always flow.
And that the heavenly father cares for every bird
As you have promised in your sacred word
