Little Children
- a Poem
- by Popsie Ebenezer
Small little children – what are they?
Monsters or Angels – what would you say?
They touch our lives and that’s for sure
But are they for headaches – a cause or a cure?!!
They do add purpose to our robotic lives
After we become husbands or wives
But purpose of dancing to their little tunes?!!
Or just dragging along from Jans to Junes?!!
No, it’s much more than that, for sure
These little ones are born so innocent and pure
But to retain these, there’s work to be done
Some guidance and discipline, along with the fun
The bond thus built is the saving grace
When faced with particularly difficult days
Their cute baby talk and funny little ways
Are sure to remove of worry, any trace
So count it a joy to have a little child
Be they boisterous or unbelievably, mild.
