Father’s Day

Fathers are the unsung heroes,
They battle incessantly to erase our woes.
Their love is selfless and subtle,
Many a times to express, they struggle!
They may not remember the class in which we study,
But can read our minds like a close buddy.
Supporting us in all our endeavours,
They fill our lives with beautiful colours.
In us they don’t see any flaws,
They work for the family without a pause!
For them, their child is always the best,
Their care and affection can never be put to test!
DADS remain in our hearts forever,
The respect and love for them will only grow stronger!!

from New Delhi, India, has a Bachelor’s in History and a Masters in Sociology. She also holds a degree in Bachelor of Education and has been in the teaching profession for 16 years. Currently on a sabbatical, she is pursuing her passion for writing, reading and travelling.
