Virtuous Glue
- a Poem

Honesty always glistens like dew,
On a pleasant face, with words that are true,
Don’t say that you don’t have a clue!
Magic words are just a few,
But use them and your language is fresh and new.
A little kindness and a bit of caring,
Walk with them, and see how you are faring,
As you wait to see what they bring,
Love comes running,
And all around, you can hear happy bells ring.
Gracious manners ask no favours,
With self- respect, you glow at all nooks and corners.
Throw away hard that cowardly ball,
And watch it come back brave and tall.
Two strong hands, generosity and compassion,
Will not let fall,
A box of love for one and all.
Be true to your virtues for a day or two,
Believe me, they will stick to you like glue.
