Silhouette
- a Poem

How far would you wander?
If you knew the way back.
How long would you stay?
If there was no way back.
Every glance, every step,
Reminds you of the find.
Every stop, every turn,
Reprimands the mind.
Then comes the naïve idea,
Backed with an inane plan.
Then comes the quail spirit,
Backed with insane resolve.
Yearn for a formidable ally,
On this path to satiety.
Yearn for a considerable foe,
On this path to sanity.
Treading with such illusion,
With an eye on the horizon.
Treading with much conviction,
With an eye on the silhouette.
