No matter how good I do.
No matter how good I be,
No matter I sacrifice,
No matter how much time I give
It’ll always be him…
I get you flowers
I get myself to you
I travel miles far
I do plenty
But, just one text is enough from him…
I want to see you
I want to get to you
I want to get my arms around you
But, just a call of help
That’s enough isn’t it?
You say you might not care
Although I get a chill
Whenever you mention him
I don’t like it I say
But it never matters, does it?
