My best memory to recall
Is the gift of your presence
The greatest gift of all
If I had to write a poem for you dad,
It would be happy & not at all sad
It would be about all the good things you did
And inspired this little kid.
He never looks for praises
He is never the one to boast
He just goes on quietly working
For the ones he loves the most
And the boy is learning
The ways of men
From the finest man
In his youthful ken.

Super Jethro ! The sentiments of a son are so well expressed and the role model a father is to his children by his actions which children silently observe and learn are beautifully worded ! Write on ….
