Little Things
- a Poem

The mist clears,
And I do see,
The warm bright day
That dawns on me.
The bud opens,
To a pretty flower,
Imparting fragrance
Hour by hour.
All through the day
The little bird sings,
Her sweet music
What joy it brings!
The silent moon
Peeps at night,
And I do see
Its silvery light.
The sky is spotted
With little stars bright,
Twinkling constantly
The darkness they fight.
As the night wanes out,
The dawn’s on its way
With a gentle breeze
Welcoming a new day.
