Hi, it’s me
Lil cute, Lil chubby
Sometimes kind
And at times a bit funny.
Just a sweetheart,
Who wants love
And to be,
Taken care of
Need someone to play with
Need someone to scratch my tummy
Need attention sometimes
Or maybe at all times.
Don’t Leave me
Don’t lock me up
I just need someone
To be with
‘Cause I’m a bit Naughty
I agree
I Mean no harm
Just playful and friendly.

Amazing creative!
The young author’s perception from a dog’s view point is so sensitive and humane.
Indeed a true tribute as an animal lover to go beyond and introspect so delicately into the world, where at times communication may be difficult.
Feels so good to read and comprehend.
?
Man’s BEST friend! There’s absolutely no doubt that dogs love unconditionally and are a great source of companionship & comfort in all seasons of life.
Beautifully penned, Jjo! Happy you can share your gift of poetry with the rest of the world. I enjoyed this one a lot ?
Lovely JJo…capturing it from the point of view of a dog, and how little they need in return for all that love that give us unconditionally
They ask no questions pass no criticisms.
Good stuff…Keep them coming
Beautifully penned down Jethro. Keep it up!
Love this – the subject matter for one, then there is the style of writing but most importantly, for me at least, it held my attention till the end – because of the perspective you wrote it from. (Though the “scratch my tummy” in the middle gave it away – the poem still had me hooked).
Keep writing, keep developing your style. I used to write too and thoroughly enjoyed it and then adulthood kicked in. I still write sometimes – still love it. So enjoy your writing, be prolific with it, capture everything, develop your style and learn from everyone and everything around you. Life lessons are everywhere – you just need to open the eyes of your soul to see, the ears of your heart to hear and your mind to experience and process it all.
Good job, Jjo.
