Infinite Wish

Time flies
Memories fade
Faces disappear
Fates change
What’s new
Oh preacher of doom?
On a new year day
Why spread your gloom?
I am no preacher
I bring no gloom
All I profess is the truth
Take it or leave it
I won’t judge you for that.
I answer only when you ask.
I am no Siri or Alexa
I am you and you are me
Now you tell me
What’s the outlook like
For your million likes
Can never change a thing
All that I profess
Makes the world go around
Year after year
In a tearing hurry
Let’s leave the stage
For the greater good
It’s a new year
It better be good
Here’s wishing you
A happy new year
Year after year
Forever and ever
Blahsphemy
from Thiruvananthapuram, in Kerala, India, is a fictional character who lives in God’s Own Country. Blahsphemy earns a living by spinning tales that sell products. Claims to be a time traveller whose stories may sound dystopian or absurd. Sadly, that's our future which sucks big time, he points out!
