Your periods ain’t dirty
Nor is it gross.
The only filth that is there
Is in the minds of them.
It won’t be easy
Neither will it always be predictable
And nor always perfect
But, Is ever life really?
Stay Away from people who stress you out
Go out and stare at the trees and sky
Drink coffee from your favourite mug
Be free and do whatever you want.
Or just do nothing for a while.
There is no shame in when you bleed
Normalize, “a girl has periods”
It’s for glee and for happiness
And to bring a new life to life.

Well written proud of you my boy. It’s your upbringing which helps you dwell into such topics. God be with you.

Very good Jethro. I wish your poem is able to sensitize more boys and men. Frankly, I did not expect a young boy like you writing on such a topic. God bless you.
