Big Fish, Small Fish
- a Poem

If you were born in the aquarium,
Bred in the aquarium,
And by the aquarium, your final omen-
Would you have ever known the ocean?
If your life was a glorified fishbowl effect,
And your curtains have scarcely ever met,
Within closed doors, what would you do?
Would you know to sing a song or two?
If the fluorescent light begins to fade,
And your focus shifts from the man-made,
Would you be able to take in the sun?
Or is this a battle the system has won?
