Acceptance
- a Poem

Seeking for validation, an unconscious effort
Be it right or wrong, we want to seek
Can’t accept on our own, society played a troll
Be it right or wrong, we want to be scrolled
Heart looking for peace, yet mind is fret
We want to be ourselves yet picture-perfect
Don’t have courage to break the norms
Can’t accept that we can be in many forms
We find it easy to make things complicated
And so hard to live uncomplicated
Why can’t we accept ourselves as we are
Be it sweet or sour
Why can’t we accept ourselves even from afar.
