Catharsis
- a Poem

Her memories were woven soft,
In the fabric of ballads.
They were connected like pearls,
through the string of songs.
She knew euphoria;
Not from things tangible.
But from pictures painted,
By sounds pieced right.
From wielding a knife of words,
Rhythm empowering her strides,
She kept away the demons,
Who consumed her idle mind.
Fantasies took life,
From lyrics that told tales.
And in every one of them,
She, was the protagonist.
Thus she was free as a flying bird,
In the sky of melodies;
Which was also her cage,
Where she was a willing prisoner.
