In the fading light, I stand alone,
Words once light, now heavy as stone.
Jests turned knives, wounds to the core,
Yet the intent, lost in folly’s lore.
Three years of kinship, a fortress built tall,
Now shaken by words, a tragic fall.
As days dwindle to three, I seek to amend,
To bridge the gap, before journey’s end.
Friend of mine, hear my plea,
For I am truly remorseful, can’t you see?
No malice meant, just a thoughtless jest,
But the damage done, put our bond to the test.
Forgive my folly, let rifts cease,
In our shared history, find release.
As I leave these halls, regret in tow,
Let healing begin, let friendship grow.
