There is no better day
So I’m gonna say this today
In the society I live
Smoking in public; that’s okay
Abuse of women; that’s okay
Domestic violence; that’s okay
Accepting bribes; that’s okay
Breaking laws; that’s okay
Dereliction of duty; that’s okay
But, Breastfeeding in public,
That’s
Indecent!
Inappropriate!!
Embarrassing!!!
You shan’t feed coz the people stare
You shan’t feed coz breast is sexualized
You shan’t feed coz breast can’t be shown in public
You shan’t feed however hard your baby cries
Take them to the place where there is no-one
It’s okay even if it’s the loo
Feed them there, not elsewhere…!
Listen!!!
I don’t care if you stare.
I’m gonna feed,
It’s my baby’s need.
