The Voyage

The psychedelic ray of light
Percolates down the woods.
To brighten up the primeval dark.

An amazing optical illusion,
Quenches the quest for light.
The first moon flickers dimly.

Water inside the core,
Protects the posterity.
Like the amniotic fluid
Of a mother’s womb.

Shades of greens,
Fragrant blooms;
Preaches the glory of life.

A sight full of sky,
A grip full of water;
A mouth full of fresh air.

Nature nurtures,
The magnanimous credo.
In a distant fraction of,
The wild civilization.

The love for light,
The crave for fire;
Chants the verdict of Prometheus.

The luminous omnipotence,
Renounces the progress,
The journey of the cave dwellers
Halts at her diminished glory.

In a luminous port,
Dark ships congregate.
The light man shouts at.

The voyage,
To go back to greens;
Twinkles in the twilight
